A lot of people say fabulous things about the work we do with them. We’re not convinced that reading abstract quotes really helps you understand what we could do for you.
What we’d prefer to do is hook you up with someone who can share their first-hand experience of working with us – to arrange this just drop us a line on
As an organisation, which is in a high grow tech environment it is pivotal to our business model that the team is effectively promoting Millennial Media’s products in order to drive our success. In a competitive market a well-executed pitch, presentation and or speaking engagement must be delivered faultlessly in a professional, memorable and “A” game manner.
In Focus provided us with a comprehensive programme of tailored workshops to help our people hone their communication skills; raising their awareness of their strengths and possible development, building confidence in their abilities, stretching them to be bolder, providing technical tips about content crafting and impressive delivery. The thing that resonated the most with our employees was it was personal, practical and experiential so everyone got what they needed.
Nikki’s approach was professional, flexible and always got the best from the team weather they were indirect or direct client facing, senior or individuals just embarking on their career. Every employee throughout the programme benefited in way or another.
Darren Hirst, HR and Talent Acquisition Manager EMEA, Millennial Media
I approached Nikki since I was experiencing a few situations whereby my enthusiastic and energetic ‘can do’ nature was affecting my personal impact. By working together we agreed a 6 month programme that would embed new thought processes, establish new habits to sustain my refined way of thinking and create my own ‘toolkit of techniques’ to ensure I deliver to the best of my abilities in all situations. Even before I had completed the programme I had senior leaders in the business comment on how my presence and delivery of key messages was ‘assured’, making them take notice of what I had to say next. I have also been approached by some Directors to work with them on our companies external, high profile programmes. I also won an award on behalf of our company from the local Chamber of Commerce who recognised my efforts on how we help develop the next generation of scientists and engineers. Outside of work I have been asked to join various boards due to my thought leadership and style. These new opportunities are enabling me to continue the exciting leadership journey that I have started whilst also supporting others on their own personal journey

I met Nikki a few times and when I decided I wanted to get some help with some personal and professional challenges that were interlinked, Nikki was the first person I thought of. I contacted her and asked to work with her over four sessions.
I really felt from the beginning Nikki had a unique ability to understand what I was thinking, the reasons behind it and how I could move forward both professionally and personally. She is very perceptive, analytical and logical in her coaching techniques. I was extremely impressed by how she could stimulate real, open conversation about personal matters. Even more powerfully she managed to help me move through the areas I was looking to improve upon stage by stage. She did this by gathering information, advising me of useful techniques and stimulating a positive change of mindset. After working with Nikki I significantly progressed and overcame the challenges I was experiencing and I could never have achieved the confidence levels I now have without her help. I am extremely grateful for her work and I would recommend her to anyone.

Healthy Living Solutions is a social enterprise that designs, develops and delivers innovative and sustainable solutions to improve health and wellbeing.
We enlisted the help of In Focus to run a series of half day workshops on Confidence and Communication Skills for projects helping people who have been long term unemployed get back into work.
A good number of this group have great difficulties with self-belief and find it hard to promote themselves and articulate their skills.
Within the sessions, we would see people grow taller, speak with louder voices and develop techniques to help them build their confidence levels. Many of our programme participants have gone on to achieve great things and we know the work with In Focus has had an important part to play in their development.
More recently we have engaged In Focus to work with our mentors teaching them coaching skills. In the one session we have had so far, a number of the mentors had a major break through in unlocking how they can work with their mentees.
It always feels like a true collaboration working with In Focus, they take the time to really understand who they will be working with, what we want to achieve within a session and are flexible to adapt to any changes, even if those changes happen on the day of delivery!
